Chuck D on Michael Jackson: His child molestation issues "irrelevant to me"
Chuck D of Public Enemy had the following comments on Michael Jackson in an interview with the public radio show "Takeaway:"
I agree up until child molestation. That's a serious crime, and is just about impossible to justify. It's hardly "irrelevant."

As you probably already know, Michael Jackson has died.
Another one bites the dust. The fact that the man died isn't the only thing that bothers me. I am bothered by the fact there isn't anyone that could come close to inheriting the throne of the King of Pop. Music is on life support thanks to Auto-tune, ringtone music and worship of non-talent (I'm looking at you Rihanna). When I heard that he died, I thought about what would happen when Prince and Madonna were gone. Or Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder or any of our other living legends. What will we be left with?
Rest In Peace Michael Jackson.
