Eminem Breaks Sales Record

Eminem's comeback looks like it's being successful:

The rap triumvirate of Eminem, Dr Dre and 50 Cent has soared 77 places to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, setting a new first-week record for download sales.

Crack A Bottle sold 418,000 downloads, surpassing the prior record of 335,000 downloads shifted last October by TI's Live Your Life featuring Rihanna.

Eminem, Dr Dre and 50 Cent - each with highly anticipated albums on the way - previously collaborated on Encore, which peaked at number 25 on the Hot 100 in January 2005.

Now, it's too bad that "Crack A Bottle" is garbage. Eminem really doesn't seem like he's made music with any passion or effort since the early 2000s. That's unfortunate since his raw anger and complicated rhyme style early in his career was very entertaining.
