The Obamas Love Slam Poetry, Too?/ASU Denies Obama Honorary Degree
The Obamas hosted a jazz and slam poetry social at the White House with many noted guests including Spike Lee and of course the Bidens (I think I saw the back of Idris Elba's head? Maybe not). I absolutely love Michelle's top and I usually don't go to mixed/matched patterns like that. I also love how bored Maila and Sasha look in some of these photos. Everyone looks great and the White House looks welcoming for a change.
In related news: this is hilarious. Jason Jones of the Daily Show goes to Arizona State University and questions students about why the college denied Obama an honorary degree.
